Today marks the beginning of a new chapter in my professional career.

I’m thrilled to announce that I’m joining Supabase!

Since 2012, when I joined Heroku, my focus has always been on developer tools, and Supabase felt like a perfect match for me.

During my 9 years at Heroku, I worked on multiple teams and developed many products. Company grew significantly in size and scope, but our main focus was always providing an excellent developer experience.

I initially worked in an office in San Francisco, and as we expanded, we started hiring in different locations transitioning to a hybrid model, working both in the office and remotely. After that, in 2017, I relocated to Madrid, and we all worked distributedly across different time zones.

The last 4 years at Meroxa were all about data. Working on Conduit taught me a lot about developing open-source products and understanding what everyone should be responsible for when dealing with a product of this nature. I’m leaving with a lot learnings under my belt, and a great amount of experience in data streaming.

Today, I am excited to join a company that aligns perfectly with my last 13 years of experience, particularly in developer experience and open-source data products while embracing distributed work.

Supabase’s strong community and significant potential were key reasons why I applied. Their egoless culture and valued Kaizen mindset resonate deeply with my values, and the interview process confirmed that this is the right place for me. It just felt right.
